We must really like The Jayhawks

Is it crazy to drive nearly 5 hours to Chicago in the dead of winter to see a band perform and then turn around and drive another 5 hours home the next morning? Well, maybe a little but when it's a band like The Jayhawks, who cares. Besides...I always say I like a long drive.

The Jayhawks performing one of their most popular songs
"Blue" at the House of Blues.

Mark Olson and Gary Louris performing "Saturday Morning
on Sunday Street" -- I love these guys.

We're goin to see The Jayhawks!

We're goin to see The Jayhawks...live...at The Vic...in Chicago...in January. Brrrr, call Mark and I crazy for traipsing around Chicago during the coldest, blusteriest month of the year (go ahead!) but crazy or not... we’re goin!! The Jayhawks together again, oh yeah! Their 5-city January tour celebrates the reissue and expansion of their first two classic albums for American Recordings - Hollywood Town Hall (1992) and Tomorrow The Green Grass (1995).

My introduction to (and still favorite song by) the Jayhawks is Two Angels (listen below). I love love LOVE this song!

Can any two others harmonize like Louris and Olson?
